Bubb Riley was a concrete contractor and became a lead concrete supervisor on both Hoover Dam and Grand Coolee Dam. He was the tenth child of Balaam Steven Riley of Kentucky and Mary Elizabeth Wooten of Tennessee. Bubb married Cleo Lou Rountree in Collingsworth, Texas and they raised three children: Otis Lee Riley, William Howard Riley and Dorothy May Riley.
