B. S. Riley, well-known Wellington citizen, died at the home of his son, Ed Riley, in this city, March 9 from smallpox.

Mr. Riley was born in Kentucky March 1, 1849.

He is survived by four sons and three daughters: Ed Riley, Jerry Riley, M. Riley and B. Riley all of Wellington; Mrs. O. Shields of Denton, Mrs. Ernest Peacox, Flag; and Mrs. Roxie LaHue, Shamrock.
