Very worn marker, still readable
Catherine/Katherine Lucke was laid to rest in St. Patrick's #1 Cemetery. This cemetery is located on the west side of Exeter Road, directly across the road from the church. Exeter Road is the boundry between Ash and Exeter Townships. This cemetery is the oldest of three cemeteries for the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with all three cemeteries located within a short distance of each other. This cemetery is fenced with a black wrought iron fence. A new pole barn is at the back of the cemetery, as showing in the photo. It is a very small cemetery. There are very few markers still left in this cemetery. This is the correct burial location for Katherine Lucke August 25, 1878. (Lo Marie)
There are other Katherine Lucke's, but in the other two St. Patrick's Cemeteries. In research for which one.
