Funeral services for Marie Johle, 83, former Olney resident, were officiated by Rev. Doug Whiting, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She and Alfred Johle married on 9 November 1927 in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. IN her earlier years, she was a member of the American Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society. After leaving Olney in 1987 in Merkel, Deport and Paris.

Survivors include two daughters, Flora Faye Seedig, and her husband, Hubert, Fair Grove, Mo., and Helen Jones, and her husband, Virgil, Talco; seven grandchildren, Gordon Seedig, Noodle, MelindaLetterman, Springfield, Mo., Jan Kunkel, Fayette, Mo., Christy Seedig, Fair Grove, Lance Jones, Fort Worth, Anissa Gray, Lubbock, and Kenlea Jones,. Commerce; seven great grandchildren, Sheila Voss, St. Louis, Stacey Letterman, Springfield, Adam Kunkel and Lindsey Kunkel, both of Fayette, Afton Coon and Kaylie Coon, both of Fort Worth, and Ashley Gray, Lubbock; and a great-great-grandchild, Haley Voss, St. Louis.

Pallbearers included Lewis Shelley, Lance Jones, Gordon Seedig, David Ickert, Rick Ickert and "Shorty" Ickert.
