Ladell K. Lanier
Funeral for Ladell Kimsey Lanier, 59, of Toccoa, was Sunday, April 30. She died Friday, April 28, at Stephens County Hospital.
Born in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Elsie McIntyre. She had resided most of her life in Toccoa and was a homemaker. She was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max F. Lanier.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Lanier of Eastanollee; sons, Rickey Lanier of Toccoa, Greg Lanier of Homer and Allen Lanier of Mt. Airy; six grandchildren; brother, John Kimsey of Toccoa; and sisters, Virginia Crump of Carnesville and Edith Youngblood of Toccoa.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30 at the Hillcrest chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlon Noles officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Danny Kimsey, Clifton Kimsey, Stacy Dover, Jimmy Youngblood, Jeff Lanier and Tracy Jarrard.
Interment was in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
