Henry Updegrave's death reads: Old Henrich Updagrave died April 18, 1831. Roach adds:
Born about 1747, son of Abraham Updegrove and his wife Christina Peters, he lived in Skippack on land Matthias Van Bebber had granted in 1724 to Jacob Updegrove, grandfather of Henry. In 1816, Henry made over the property to his presumed nephew Abraham Tyson, reserving to himself and his sister Ann Updegrave the privilege of living in the "old room and bed chamber at the east end" of the house. His sister Ann died May 25, 1821 in her 77th year. They are both buried at Lower Skippack Mennonite Cemetery.
