WINTERSTEEN, RACHEL L. - 90, of Marshall, passed away May 16, 2011 at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1920 in Concord, Michigan to Walter and Veda (Kinsey) Day.
She married Kenneth Wintersteen who preceded her in death on January 29, 1975.
Rachel had worked for Albion College as an accountant.
She enjoyed watching birds, gardening and dancing.
She is survived by three daughters, Sue Smith of Marshall, Judy (John) Patton of Albion and Joana (Michael) Nugy of Elkart, IN; one son, Frank Wintersteen of Ypsilanti; seven grandchildren; and14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and four brothers.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Homer. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Oaklawn Hospice.
