Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Research Stargardts (Macular Degeneration Eye Disease) or Shriners Children's Hospital.
Donna was born Aug. 7, 1932, in Fairbury, Neb., the daughter of Dick and Helen Ring McLean. She married Donald Crimmins Oct. 11, 1951, in Santa Fe, N.M. He passed away Oct. 2, 1987.
Donna worked at Modern Woodman of America, the First National Bank, and retired in 1989 from John Deere in East Moline where she worked in the payroll department. Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was an extraordinary cook and candy maker. She also loved her Jack Russell "Babes."
Survivors include her children, Dorothy (Gregory) Polito and James Crimmins, both of Silvis; grandchildren, Matthew Crimmins (Melissa Dejonhe) of Chicago, Heather (Andy) Gall of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tomas Crimmins (Stephanie Warren) of East Moline, Katie Crimmins of East Moline, Hailee Polito of Davenport, and Joseph Crimmins of East Moline; great-grandchildren, Addilyn, Stella and McKenna; special nieces, Nancy Svetlick of Silvis and Sally Burke of Gardner, Kan.; special friend, Vikki Soliz. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Dick and a sister, Dorothy Steele.
