He was a Revolutionary War soldier and he was married to Helen who was Hilletje Mulder-Muller to the best of my memory (which I will check out by referring to some written records). His burial information is found in Early Settlers of New York State by Janet Wethy Foley. It says there that his wife was Helen and that she died sometime in February 1834 at the age of 70 years. (That would mean that Helen was born sometime around 1763 or 1764.)
