Mary Bay's actual burial records come from "Early Settlers of New York State" by Janet Wethy Foley.

Mary Bay was possibly the daughter of John Bay and Hannah/Anna Williams who were married at Albany, New York at St. Peter's Anglican Church in December of 1769. Her possible parents are also buried at this cemetery along with a possible younger brother Herman (Harmon) Bay. The problem with this supposition is that there is nothing but the cemetery records to suggest these links and no genealogy records that confirm it. The only known daughter of John Bay and Ann Williams was Jane Bay, but she married her father's law student William W. Van Ness, Jr.
