ALBERTA WHITE DIES, RITES MONDAY
Alberta White, 70, longtime resident of Chariton, died Friday at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A resident of Southgate for three years, she had been hospitalized for 10 days.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. John (Rhoda) Bixler and Margaret Ward and a brother, Billy Dale, all of Des Moines; and an aunt, Ann Reimer of Chariton.
Services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. James Robertson conducting. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
