Obituary: SOUTHBRIDGE - Harry R. Eppley, 88, of 150 Main St., died yesterday in Harrington Memorial Hospital after an illness.
His wife, Lilliane (Gauthier) Eppley, died in 1976. He leaves two daughters, Dorothy Ireland of North Oxford, and Alice Belanger of Southbridge; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was born in Harrisburg, Pa., son of David and Mary (Krater) Eppley, and lived in this area most of his life.
He was employed as a textile worker by the former Southbridge Finishing Co., and the former Charlton Woolen Co. for many years, retiring in 1967.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Bullard's Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., with Elder Werner Engel, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Southbridge, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial gifts may be made instead to Watchtower Publications, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11201, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
