DANIEL WELLS

EATON RAPIDS, Nov. 28 - DANIEL E. WELLS, 76, died Thursday afternoon at the home on Canal street. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock with Rev. Walter Ratcliff officiating and burial in Rose Hill cemetery. He leaves the widow, CORA WELLS; two daughters, MRS. JENNIE RAYMER and MRS. CECIL BATTLEY of Eaton Rapids; two brothers, JOHN and CHARLES WELLS of Eaton Rapids; one sister, MRS. CHARLES PONTIUS of Eaton Rapids; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wells was born in Eaton Rapids and lived there practically all his life. He worked in Horner's woolen mill 18 years, also Davison's woolen mills for 20 years.
