MRS. DANIEL WELLS

EATON RAPIDS - MRS. CORA B. WELLS, 90, widow of DANIEL WELLS, who lived at 434 Canal st., died Friday at Community Hospital here where she had been a patient less than two days. She had been ill for about a month, having suffered a heart attack shortly after her 90th birthday. Mrs. Wells was a lifetime resident of Eaton Rapids, having been born Nov. 17, 1868. Her parents were DAVID and SARAH (PARMENTEER) SPOTTS. She was a member of the First Methodist Church here, Rebekah Lodge No. 124, and the Royal Neighbors. She was married to Mr. Wells on July 4, 1886. He died Nov. 26, 1942. Surviving are two daughters, MRS. JENNIE RAYMER and MRS. CLARENCE BATTLEY, both of Eaton Rapids; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
