THE GETTYSBURG TIMES July 10, 1939

William Wilkinson, 74, Orrtanna RD, died Sunday noon at his home in Franklin township from a complication of diseases. He had been in ailing health for some time.
The deceased was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Baker) Wilkinson.
Surviving are three sons and six daughter, Mrs. John Cassatt, Fairfield RD; Mrs. Oscar Cassatt,
Mrs. Lewis Metz, Mrs. James Kump, Mrs. Bernard Forsythe, Frank, Joseph and Ernest, all of Orrtanna RD and Mrs. Melvin Spealman, Gettysburg RD; two brothers, Thomas, Lancaster, and Frank, Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Winfield Kneff, Millersville, Virginia, and Mrs. Cornelius Lerew, Biglerville; 31 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday morning at 10:00 from the Mt. Carmel United Brethren church conducted by the Rev. H. O. Sipe, Interment in the church cemetery.
