A homemaker and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice, Baton Rouge, surrounded by family.
She was 93 and a native of Plaquemine. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, on Tuesday, March 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Cleo Milano, celebrant. Interment in Grace Memorial Park.
Survived by her three daughters, Norma Garrett, Gayle Breeding and Karen Causin; two sons, Joseph and Michael Rodosta; two sisters, Velma Matherne and Nora Lee Brigalia; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents, Rodolphe Rivet and Carrie Orillion Rivet; and the father of her children, Dominic C. Rodosta.
