William Dicus died at his home near Bible Grove Tuesday night, at the age of 73. He was born in Hancock County, Illinois, August 19, 1865.
He was married to Frederica Weahr who survives him, along with Mrs. W. C. Couch, who made her home with them since childhood until her marriage; half brothers, Oscar and Lee Rodgers of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters, Mrs. Lou James and Carrie Wagner of Lavonia; Clarie Howe of Gorin; and Mattie Lancaster of Ft. Madison.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Bible Grove Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. W. M. Feay. Body bearers were Sim Marsh, Jno. Barker, Jake Frederick, Merle Snyder, Jack Couch, and Linn Howard.
