Terry Eugene "Goose" Durant, 52, of Brewster, went home to join his parents and brother, Jim, after a short illness at Mercy Medical Center.

Goose was known by everyone and loved by all! He was courageous, strong, and an inspiration to all who knew him.

Family meant everything to him as he did to them. The Buckeyes lost their biggest fan. He never let life pass him by, but lived it to the fullest. He never wanted to miss a thing! He managed to bring family and friends closeness and smiles.

Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene J. and Jean Marie Durant, and brother Jim.
Survived by Norma (Bill) Sword, Gary (Marilyn) Durant, Ted (Sherri) Durant, Dale (Angie) Durant, his twin Theresa (Rich) Swan, Iva (Dave) Otto, Tim (Celia) Durant, 18 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Baca will live on in the hearts of all who knew him forever!

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster with Father John Nentwick officiating. Burial will be in the Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. Friends may call Sunday from 1-3:00 pm. at the funeral home.
