Wife of Captain Abner Dwelle. She was the daughter of Moses Martin, (also a soldier in the Revolution) and Lydia Moore (1748-1822). Miriam was born in Salem and died of consumption in Greenwich, New York.

Miriam and Abner had 12 children, two dying in infancy.
