Alta Levica Hull, 78, died Dec. 31, 1984, at home.
She was born Aug. 22, 1906, to Alva and Laura Bell Christy. She married Lester S. Hull on Dec. 25, 1925, at Ottumwa. He died April 25, 1980. She was a member of the VFW auxiliary and the Northgate Alliance Church.
She is survived by three brothers, Earl, Rex and Raymond Christy of Ottumwa; two sisters, Daisy Channell and Marvel Shoemaker of Ottumwa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Shrine of Memories Chapel, the Rev. Gary Keisling officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation is 7-8:30 p.m today.
