Born in Baden, Germany, 52 years ago, Mrs. Kennerknecht, whose maiden name was Adeline Mayer, was a daughter of Anthony and Barbara Mayer. With her parents she came to this country when 14 years of age and made her home with her parents in New York Mills. There she resided until 1888, when she waa married to Francis X. Kennerknecht. Since that time she had lived at the home at St. Joseph's Cemetery on Champlin Avenue.
Besides her husband she leaves four daughters, Mrs. John Cummings, Mrs. Stuart Baird, Theresa, Bertha and Mary Kennerknecht and four sons, John, Robert, Norbert and Albert Kennerknecht. The following sisters and brothers also survive: Mrs. W. J. Wuest, Joseph, William, Frederick, Albert and Lawrence Meyer and Mrs. Casper Kennerknecht. A stepbrother, Frank Schmetzle, of Syracuse, and a stepsister, Theresa Feist in Germany, and several nieces and nephews, survive.
