Funeral services for Thomas F. Highley were held Saturday, March 6, at the Vase Funeral Home and conducted by the Rev. George Mackey.

Burial was in the Mountain View section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Paul Oblock, Lester Vavold, John Georgis, Ray Lorenzon, Val Koritnik and Andy Radman.

Mr. Highley died Thursday, March 4, at the Kimberly Manor Nursing Home following a two-year illness. He was 70 and resided at 1325 Sage St.

He was the son of the late John Henry and Hannah Brazey Highley and was born May 19, 1905, in Rock Springs.

Mr. Highley attended school in Rock Springs and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired Union Pacific Railroad carman.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, International Order of Odd Fellows and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Mona) Chevalier, Mrs. Alfred (Mae) Walker, both of Rock Springs and Mrs. C.E. (Emma) Snider of Sheridan; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Angelina Highley of Rock Springs and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles and Arthur and one sister, Mrs. Annie Killian.
