She was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Munjor, to Henry A. and Clara (Pfannestiel) Meier.
She married Louis W. Ross on Oct. 20, 1948, in Hays. He preceded her in death Nov. 1, 2003. She was a former cook at Felten Middle School and Hays High School and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society Christian Mothers.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Ross and wife, Cindy and Roger Ross and wife, Sue, all of Edmond, Okla.; three daughters, Carol Ledbetter and husband, Clint, Edmond, Joan Scott and husband, Gary, Pampa, Texas and Lois Ross, Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Milton Meier and Ernie Meier, both of Hays; five sisters, Louise Staab, Gladys Moore and Rosie Schmidt, all of Hays, Berdy Herrman and Leota Legleiter, both of Great Bend; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Camilla Lou Ross; and three brothers, Ralph, Walter and Robert Meier.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine.
An Altar Society Christian Mothers rosary will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hays Medical Center or St. John's Assisted Living in care of the funeral home.
