A daughter of Margaret L. Fulcher and Thomas C. Clark, Jr., she married William Franklin Ireland on June 12, 1904 at the Centenary M. E. Church South in New Bern, NC


Cause of death: Circulartory failure.

"Mrs. Cloey Armeta Ireland, 65, a resident of Norfolk for the past 31 years, died after a long illness yesterday at 8:25 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Inez I. Hall, 4920 Partridge Street, Norview. Born in Pamilco County, NC, she was daughter of the late Thomas and Morona [sic] Clark and widow of William F. Ireland. Surviving are two sons, Norman G. and Ernest L. Ireland; two daughters, Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Rena Smith, all of Norfolk, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Derry Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery."

Hall, 4920 Partridge Street, Norview, Wednesday night, will be conducted in the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Fred A. Bobbitt, pastor of Park Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery."
