Milan-Oakville Road, Milan, MI--Age 67, she died Friday evening, December 30, 1988 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 11, 1921 in Saline, the daughter of David and Rose (Heldt) Hansor. On July 15, 1939, she married Louie Newman at the London United Methodist Church and the UMW past president of the Rebekahs #99. She was a member of the Milan Women's Club, Milan Historical Society, the London Aid Society, the Monroe County Extension, the Monroe County Extension Chorus, the Monroe Area Antique Car Club, the Buick Club, and the Cadillac Club. Survivors, besides her husband Louie, include one son and one daughter of Milan; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister of Dundee and one brother of Harrision, MI. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosina Hansor and Augusta Jennings. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Marble Memorial United Methodist Church in Milan with the Revs. Irma Ward and Robert Goudie officiating. Burial will follow in Marble Park Cemetery in Milan. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of their choice. Friends may call at the Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church on Wednesday from noon until the time of service.
