Louie L. Newman

Age 92, died Saturday, January 15, 2011at his daughter's home where he has been living. He was born April 29, 1918 in London Township, Michigan to Lewis and Clara (Wilson) Newman.
On July 15, 1939 he married Rosabelle Hansor and she preceded him in death on December 30, 1988. Louie was a contractor and a real estate broker throughout Michigan. He also owned Newman Real Estate in Milan.
Louie was a member of Marble Memorial United Methodist Church and London United Methodist Church, Loyal Order Milan Moose #335, Milan Historical Society, Tri County Sportsman's Club, Monroe Area Antique Car Club, the Buick and Cadillac club and was an avid antique car collector. Louie was a man who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
He is survived by one son, Gerald (Janet) of Milan, one daughter Pamela (Thomas) Lindsay of Union City, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, seven great- great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his brother Morris Newman and a sister Dora Vagt.
Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Tuesday from 6-8pm and Wednesday 4-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home 11:00am Thursday, January 20th with Rev.
