Census: 1900, age 4 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with parents & three siblings.

~ In July of 1902 three of her siblings died while residing at corner of Grand avenue & Macon street, Carthage.

Census: 1910, age 14 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with parents & three siblings.

~ Father passed away in 1915.

Census: 1920, age 24 Parsons, Labette county, Kansas with 1st husband & two children at 2009 Ash avenue, husband a coppersmith.

Census: 1930, age 34 Little Rock, Pulaski county, Arkansas divorced, with three children, a maid for private family.

Census: 1940, age, 44 Parsons, Labette county, Kansas widowed (?) with youngest child at 1922 Crawford street, working for the WPA, same home in 1935.

~ First married Frank Jesse Scobey having three known issues then apparently remarried following divorce before 1940, to a Mr Albert Burmeister, who to us is currently unknown.

~ City Directory: 1963, Parson, Labette county, Kansas widow of Albert Burmeister at 1520 1/2 Washington avenue.

Death: in Independence, Montgomery county, Kansas, obituary found in Coffeyville, Montgomery county, Kansas newspaper dated 24 FEB 1979.

Father: John William (also W J) Clubb b: 7 JUN 1868 Jasper county, Missouri.
Mother: Annie A McAlester b: about 1876 Missouri.

Louella J. Burmeister

CHERRYVALE- Mrs. Louella J. Burmeister, 83, of Cherryvale, died Saturday at 10:10 a.m. in Independence Mercy Hospital where she had been admitted Feb. 12.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced though the Wayne Darling Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burmeister was born Oct. 25, 1895, at Carthage, Mo., the daughter of John W. and Anna (McAlester) Clubb.

She received her education at Carthage and resided in the Mound Valley and Parsons area for many years. She was employed as a cook for several years at the Parsons Training School.
She had been a resident of the Medi-Lodge in Cherryvale since 1973. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene at Parsons and a past member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray Good, Kansas City, Mo:, and Mrs. Finis Good , Cherryvale; one son, Franklin L. Scobey, Lakewood, Calif.; ans 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was perceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
