Denna was the son of Richard and Catherine Allbery.
He married to Mazie S. Metzger Gardner on 07 March 1892 in Blair, Nebraska.
With his parents he came to Blair about fifty years ago and for years worked for the late L. F. Hilton on the Pilot and for a number of years while Mr Hilton served as postmaster he acted as foreman and general manager of the paper.
About 1893 or 94 Mr. Hilton sold the Pilot to Perry Selden and then purchased what is now the Journal Stockman of South Omaha but Alberry did not go with him but severed his connection with newspaper work and later moved to Denver where he has since conducted a general real estate and insurance business.
Picture taken in 1924; he came to visit his nieces Grace and Carrie Allbery's family in Oregon.
