TOULON -- Marie G. Way, 87, of rural Toulon, formerly of Delong, died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 1993, at Toulon Healthcare Center. Born Sept. 8, 1905, in Fulton County to Grant and Mabel Davis Ferris, she married Harry L. Way on Oct. 8, 1925, in Burlington, Iowa. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Willodean Bhear of Toulon and Connie Gray of Galesburg; two sisters, Elsie Thurman of Galesburg and Garnet Gravitt of Victoria; nine grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded her in death. Before moving to Toulon in 1989 she lived in the Delong and Hermon areas. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Abingdon Chapel. The Rev. Raymond McLaren will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Haynes Cemetery near Delong. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Foundation.
