The sponsors at the baptism of Louisa Serfass were Jacob Michael and Maria Wagner.

In 1880 Louise (Serfass) Kichline, age 41 born in PA, a widow, was living in Stewartsville in Warren Co., NJ, with five of her children; son William Kichline age 21 born in PA a farmer, son Reuben Kichline age 18 born in PA, daughter Sarah Kichline age 15 born in PA, daughter Susan Kichline age 5 born in NJ, and son Isaac Kichline age 2 born in NJ. Also listed in their household was a nephew, Henry Cahoon age 24 born in PA, a laborer. (1880 census, National Archives Film T9-0799, Page 340C)

Sometime after her first husband, Isaac Kichline, died, and after 1880, Louisa remarried a Charles Kremer. In 1892 Louise (Serfass) Kremer was living at Stewartsville, NJ. She was still living there in 1912.

MRS. CHARLES KREMER
Mrs. Louise, widow of the late Charles Kremer, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Isaac Hance, near Stewartsville, of a complication of ailments, aged 83 years. She had been ill during the past four months.

Mrs. Kremer was twice married. By her first husband she is survived by six children, William Kichline, of Stewartsville; John Kichline, of Nebraska; Reuben Kichline, of Phillipsburg; Mrs.Isaac Hance, of near Stewartsville; Mrs. William Durling, of East Orange, and Mrs. Edward Transue, of Easton. A sister, Mrs. A. J. Willever, of Green's Bridge, also survives her.

Mrs. Kremer was a member of the Stewartsville Presbyterian church.

The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Easton cemetery.
