Obiturary......Warren Cummings was a sheriff that served several terms. After the war he became a Clerk & Master of the Chancery Court for a short time and a member of the Constitutional in 1870. He was a Charter members of the Bank of Woodbury and at his death he was President and largest clerk holder. Warren Cummings was the largest money lender of Cannon County, and the best money lender in the state. He was almost 84 when he died. He died a member of the Christian Church at Woodbury.
