Cause of death: "Peritonitis, probably eating grapes undigestable fruit"

Miss Ella Kennedy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Kennedy died at 12 o'clock last night aged 18 years and 23 days. Miss Kennedy was born in Reading,, Pennsylvania, where she lived until March 1904, when they came to this city. She leaves to mourn her death her father, mother and 3 sisters, Anna, Agnes and Elizabeth, 2 brothers, Frank and Sheridan. Funeral notices will be given later.

The funeral of the late Miss Ella Kennedy will be held at her home, 812 Fifth Street, at half past seven this evening; Dr. Cryor officiating. The remains will be shipped to Chicago on the 4:52 train tomorrow morning.

The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice, from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gillis, 149 Penn, on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services at the house. Interment private in Charles Evans Cemetery
