Mrs. Elizabeth Bashor died here at the home of her brother Samuel Wine, at 11 o'cock Tuesday August 9th.

Mrs. Bashor was the daughter of Christian and Barbara Wine and was born here April 23, 1843, being at the time of her death 78 years, 4 months and 16 days old.

On October 1 1874 she was married to Martin B. Bashor of Pleasant Valley. Mr. Bashor died June 3, 1876, and for more than 45 years she remained at widow.

During this time she cared for two step-children and acted as housekeeper for her father-in-law, teh late Conrad Bashor.

In early womanhood she united with the Pleasant Valley Brethren Church to whcih she belonged at the time of her death. She lived a consecrated Christian life and was loved and respected by all who knew her.

She was the youngest of a family of seven brothers and four sisters, all of whom lived to maturity survived by one brother, Samuel Wine, who on August 4th celebrated the completion of this 86th year. On June 23, while visiting in the home of her brother here, she was stricken with appoplexy and gradually declined in strength until relieved by death.

The funeral was conducted from the home yesterday and interment followed in the Wine Cemetery.
