in 1839 fromm White Co. Tenn. They settled in the Houston County Daly Community.

James Lawson married Louisa Catherine "Lou" Baker at Houston County, Texas
They moved to Amherst, Lamb County, Texas They are buried at Amherst, but two of their children are buried in Collin County.
