She was born Oct. 26, 1929, in Dallas to Roy and Willie Maude Tucker Reiger.
On April 29, 1950, she married Edward Brandenberger Jr.
She had been a nurse for the Denton school district.
She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Midway Baptist Church on Highway 377 in Aubrey. The Rev. John Theisen will officiate. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W. University Drive in Denton.
Survivors include her husband of Pilot Point; two sons, Brian Brandenberger of Plano and Bill Brandenberger of Frisco; one daughter, Suzie Loftis of Pilot Point; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
