Aged Resident of Edina. Mo., Dies After Long Illness.

Edina. Mo., Feb. 6—Mrs. Laura Fisher, wife of Andrew Fisher, died Wednesday evening at 9 o'clock. She had been ill for quite a while and her death was not unexpected.
Laura Fresh was born near Newark. Mo., February 3, and died at the age of 73 years. She was married to Andrew Fisher in April 1873, and was the mother of six children, one dying in infancy, the other living ones are John and Fred, of Edina, Mo., Murray and Mrs. Jones of Oklahoma, and Mrs. W. T. Melson, of Edina, and one granddaughter and grandson, Margaret and Louis Jones.

MRS. ANDREW FISHER DEAD
Mrs. Andrew Fisher, 73 years old, died about 9 o'clock last night after being confined to her bed three weeks, which was preceded by failing health, culminating in an operation in Blessing Hospital in Quincy on October 31 for cancer, from where she returned home on Nov. 23.
Three sons and two daughters survive with the husband and father. The sons are John H. Fisher of Edina, Fred K. Fisher of Creston, la., and A. M. Fisher of Leedy, Okla. The daughters are Mrs. L. K. Jones of Tulsa, Okla. and Mrs. W. T. Wilson of Edina.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with burial in Linville cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher has been a resident of Edina since 1902, when Mr. Fisher with his family came here from LaBelle to engage in the business of buying and shipping grain.
Before her marriage to Mr. Fisher, on April 30, 1873, Mrs. Fisher was Miss Laura M. Fresh a daughter of John and Mary Fresh, and she was born in Hannibal in 1849. Previous to going to LaBelle, in 1886, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher lived in and near Newark a number of years. — Edina Sentinel.
Mrs. Fisher used to visit her daughter, Mrs. W. T. Wilson when they lived in Monticello and made many warm friends here. During their long residence in LaBelle she, by her gentle kindly disposition won the love and esteem of all who knew her. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
