Baer, Clayton Allen, Snover, Michigan. Died Friday, May 28, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center Harrison in Saginaw. Age 89 years. He was born March 28, 1915 in Decker, MI the son of the late Allen and Clara (Johnson) Baer. He was a lifelong area resident. Clayton married Betty Simmons. He served his country in World War II in the Army and was a member of the Sandusky VFW. He is survived by his wife Betty, and his children, Sharon and David King (daughter) of Hemlock; Linda and Joe Guza (daughter) of Cass City; Ron and Darlene Baer (son) of North Carolina; his sisters, Alice Hudson of Marlette; Bessie and Eldon Phetteplace of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Jason and Craig King, Justin and Nicole Baer, Carol Guza; one great- grandchild, Trinity Smith. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky. Rev. Martin Hagenow officiating. Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Chapel on Monday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Christian Memorial Cultural Center Cemetery in Peck. Memorial requests, American Heart Association, United Hospice or organization of the donors personal choice.
