Mrs. E. Brown Dies Saturday
Mrs. Eva Bertha Brown, 70, 2914 Ave H, died 2:30 p.m. Saturday at her home after an illness of one year which had been serious since Christmas day.
Born July 14, 1875, in Mercer county, Ill., she married Lewis H. Brown, March 16, 1893, at Atlanta, Mo.
The moved to Fort Madison in 1920.
She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday in Clements Chapel with the Rev. George Shepard, Grand River, Iowa, and the Rev. Ray L. Thompson, Atlanta, Mo., officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
The body will be at the home until time for the funeral.
A son Everett Brown died in 1917.
