MANTI NATIVE DIES AT SALT LAKE CITY

Mrs. Mary Ann Lauber, 74, died at the home of her daugher, Mrs. J. K. Pederson in Salt Lake City last Friday, after a lingering illness. She was born in Manti, February 16, 1876, a daughter of George and Jane Horton Bench. She was married to Louis A. Lauber on December 23, 1896, and they resided in Manti for a time after the marriage. Mr. Lauber died in 1938.

Surviving are three sons, Matt G. Lauber, San Francisco; Budd and Edwin H. Lauber, Salt Lake City; four daughters, Mrs. H. L. Wood, Sacramento, California; Mrs. I. K. Pederson, Aliene and Norma Lauber, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Wilford Bench, Manti and three sisters, Mrs. Ella B. Cox and Mrs. Jennie B. Cox, Manti and Mrs. Clarice B. Larson, Gunnison.

Funeral services were held Tuesday and burial was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
