OBITUARY
Died at his home in Knox City November 30, 1911 George Petree [sic], at the age of eighty years nine months and seventeen days.
The deceased was born in Wayne County, Indiana, February 14, 1831. He was married to Teresa Vice in 1851. To this union two children were born. Their mother passed away in 1854.
Mr. Petree {sic] was afterward married to Satira Callaway January 20, 1866. To this union five children were born. These mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. Mr. Petree [sic] had been ill for some months before the summons came.
The funeral services were held at his late residence in Knox City and was conducted by Rev. R. Sellens. Interment at Knox City.
Thus one by one the old residents pass on.
