Mrs. Richmond was born Charles Leona Bobbitt in Lodi on January 31, 1919, the daughter of Mary Lee and Edgar James Bobbitt. A 1936 graduate of Jefferson High School, she married Anthony R. "Red" Richmond in 1946. She retired in 1988 from the Arlington Villa Nursing Home where where was a Nurse's Aide for many years. She regularly attended the Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas.
Mrs. Richmond was preceded in death by her husband in June of 1989. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Francisca Richmond of Plano, Texas; a daughter, Christy Richmond of Los Angeles, California; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kathryn and B.A. Richmond of Houston, Texas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Johnnie Bell Bobbitt of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
