Ruth was a cosmatologist and ran her own business for a number of years. During wartime she had worked at the Parsons Ammunition Plant, Parsons, Kansas. In later years she was a nanny, a job she really loved and the children loved her. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Joplin, MO.
Ruth passed away on December 1, 1996. Services were at 11:00 A.M. at Parker Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 5, 1996 with Pastor Brian Pruett in charge. Pallbrearers were Rick Parks, Larry Martin, Russ Moser, Dalton Hess, Russ Hooten and Ted Faulkner. Burial was in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin, MO.
