Rites Held Sunday for Mrs. Crawford
Services for Mrs. Warren Crawford of Tabor were held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Mansfield funeral home in Malvern with the Rev. Clyde King officiating. Mrs. Charles Costello was soloist, Mrs. J. E. Ellison the organist. Pallbearers were Jack Edmonds, Herbert Anderson, Omer McAlexander, Ivan Crawford, Bernard Camerlinck and Harold Crawford, Mrs. Richard Payne had charge of the registry book, and Mrs. Jack Edmonds, Mrs. Herbert Stogdill, Mrs. Howard Collins and Mrs. Evelyn Resh had charge of the flowers.
Interment was in the Hastings cemetery. .
Margaret Clara Mae Crawford, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Clyde Collins, was born Manch 6, 1923, near Riverton. She was raised in the Riverton, Sidney, Hamburg vicinity. On June 2, 1940 she was married to Warren Crawford of, Hastings. They resided in Hastings for a number of years. In 1954 they moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. They returned to Iowa in 1969, residing in Glenwood and Tabor. Mrs. Crawford died Feb. 25, 1971 in the Hamburg hospital after a lengthy illness.
Survivors are her; husband, Warren (Shorty) Crawford; three children, Mrs. Gloria Jean Jane of Grand Island, Russell Keith Crawford in the service in Virginia, and Mrs. Bonnie Jane Brown of Omaha; six grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Dorthy Collins of Tabor; five sisters, Ethel Aspedon, Riverton, Iowa, Louella Anderson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Norman Knightley of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Lila McAlexander and Lela Camerlinck of Tabor. One brother Keith Collins of Ames.
Preceded in death by her brother Keith, her father Clyde Collins and a grandson.
