She was born in in Poteau, Okla., to John and Myrtle Hoyle Ingle. She was a former resident of California, where she worked for Lockheed Aircraft. She was a resident of Siloam Springs for the past 30 years. She was a Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Pink Lady. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs and a member of the United Methodist Women's Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bosley Johnson, in 1983.
Survivors include two sisters, one brother, many nieces and nephews.
