Earnest Crawley, 65, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at his home in Eureka, Calif. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tannehill pavilion with the Rev. Anthony Sparks officiating. He will be buried in the same cemetery as his parents, Warner and Birdie Crawley; his grandparents, Martin and Ella Crawley and Woodie and Edie Gray; brothers Leon and Kenneth; sister, Dorothy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Earnest was born July 30, 1937, in Scipio. He was a farm worker and retired as a bartender in California. He enjoyed singing. Survivors include his wife, Harriet; three sons, four daughter, all of California, 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Bufford, Lonnie and Donald; three sisters, Elizabeth Zink, Betty Hodges and Barbara Abney; sisters-in-law, Namoi, Norma, Dorothy, Teresa and Margaret and brothers-in-law, Ray Cantrell, Bill Abney and Dennis Zink.
