Mrs. Anna M. Lohr, of near Seven Stars, died at the Warner Hospital this morning at 3:00 from the effects of blood poisoning which set in last Tuesday a few days after she had sustained a cut on her forehead. Mrs. Lohr had fallen while walking near her home not long ago and had suffered an abrasion of her forehead when her head struck a sharp stone. Local remedies failed to eradicated the septic poison which set in and she was taken to the local institution but the progress of the malady could not be checked.
She is the wife of Aaron Lohr, who is at the present time seriously ill at his home. She was aged 74 years, 8 months and 17 days.
Born in Franklin township, between Cashtown and Orrtanna, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Peter Hake, she has been a resident of the county all her life. She became a member of the McKnightstown Reformed Church in early childhood and has continued her affiliation with that church her entire life.
Surviving her are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Perren W. Rebert, of near Seven Stars, and one adopted grandson, Donald H. Lohr.
Funeral services at her late home, Sunday afternoon at 3:30, the Rev. Walter C. Pugh, of Fairfield, officiating. Interment in Flohr’s cemetery.
