Two weeks after the death of his wife, Aaron Henry Lohr, 81, prominent retired farmer of Franklin township, near Seven Stars, died at his home at 6:30 Tuesday evening after an illness of seven weeks from complication of diseases.
His wife, Mrs. Anna M. Lohr, 74, died at the Warner Hospital July 2, from the effects of blood poisoning, which set in after she had suffered a cut on her forehead. Mr. Lohr was seriously ill when his wife died and was unable to attend the funeral.
Mr. Lohr was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Samuel Lohr, and was born and spent practically all his life in Franklin township.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Perren W. Rebert, near Seven Stars; two sisters, Mrs. George W. Schwartz, Cashtown, and Mrs. Sara C. Mickley, of Pittsburgh, and by three grandchildren.
Funeral services Friday morning at 10:00 at the house, the Rev. N. L. Horn, Gettysburg, officiating in the absence of his regular pastor, the Rev. W. C. Pugh, pastor of the Cashtown Reformed charge. Interment at Flohr’s cemetery.
