bituary (Paris (MO) Mercury, Dec. 20, 1935)- Orph Todd Stephens, 51 years of age, died at his
home northeast of Ash Thursday evening, December 5th. He was the son of the late Richard
Stephens, who preceded him in death only a few months. He is survived by his widow, the former
Miss Sloan Gwynn; a daughter, Doris, of the home; another daughter by a former marriage,
Christine Stephens, of Liberty, and one brother, Claude Stephens, of Liberty.

The son of Richard Stephens and Hannah Alexander, he was a farmer, he died from pneumonia and cancer, according to his death certificate, informant was Earle Haden of Madison Missouri.
