Obituary (Kansas City (MO) Times, Apr. 24, 1956)- Claude T. Stephens, 77, died yesterday at the St. Joseph hospital. He had suffered a heart ailment about 18 months. Mr. Stephens was born near Moberly, Mo., and moved from there six years ago to make his home with a daughter, Mrs. Norma Ruth Keal, 4407 East Fifty-sixth street. He formerly operated a general store at Moberly. Mr. Stephens was a motor car salesman at Liberty 18 years until he retired in 1940. He and his wife, Mrs. Lorein Stephens of the home, observed their fifty-fourth wedding anniversary last November. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Moberly and of the Parkway Baptist church. Services will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday at the Newcomer chapel. Burial will be in White Chapel cemetery.
