Brent Monsour Riddell, 39, died unexpectedly April 20, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at St. James' Episcopal Church with private graveside services following at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon at Saturday in Oak Ridge Hall at St. James' Episcopal Church.
Brent was born on July 29, 1971 in Jackson, the daughter of Jody Monsour and the late Patricia Boggan Cummings. A graduate of MRA, she attended Hinds Community College on a tennis scholarship. She continued her education at Mississippi State University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Brent enjoyed watching Ole Miss sports and was a communicant of the Episcopal Church.
She loved her family and her children.
Brent is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Boggan Cummings and grandparents, Emil and Boots Monsour.
Survivors include: her husband, Lee Riddell of Canton; father and step-mother, Jody and Pat Monsour of Madison; step-father, Homer Cummings of Madison; sons, Trace and Kyle Kindred; daughter, Peyton Riddell; brother, Matt Monsour of Memphis, TN; sister, Michelle Ayers and her husband Ed of Madison; step-sister, Linda Whitten and her husband Bob of Memphis, TN; step-brother, Tommy Cummings and her wife Jennifer of Pensacola, FL; nephews, Carter and Aiden Ayers; maternal grandparents, Willard and Lottie Boggan of Jackson and paternal grandmother, Ruth Monsour of Jackson.
